Biography:
-Bachelors from Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID -Masters' from Adams State University, Alamosa, CO Work background: -Skoglund Middle School/Center High School since 2003.
Work with all students to successfully graduate from high school on schedule (within 4 years). This may be on both personal and academic levels. It also includes guiding students to choose a career path early and helping them make the best decisions to achieve personal and career goals. Collaborate with Mrs. Ruggles to ensure seniors complete college and scholarship applications in a timely manner, and are otherwise prepared to step out into the adult world for successful post-secondary careers. Collaborate with Ms. Banning about students who need extra help in meeting graduation goals, no matter what their academic status, but particularly with students who may have trouble meeting 4-year graduation goals. |

I work with students to address their academic, social, and emotional needs. I teach middle school health and guidance classes called Choices, and I teach a post-secondary preparation class called Senior Seminar. I also coordinate the ICAP process. ICAP stands for Individual Career and Academic Plan and involves students preparing for their future education and careers. I also develop programs focused on student and staff health and wellness. |
